1. What this is
Parts of this website operate as a Virtual Office Website ("VOW"). A VOW lets consumers who have a relationship with CalgaryListings Group (eXp Realty) view MLS® information — including sold prices and listing history — that real estate board rules do not permit on public web pages. This data is supplied by Pillar 9™, the MLS® System serving Alberta.
2. Registration requirements
To open a VOW account you must:
- Provide your real name, telephone number and a valid email address;
- Create a unique username and password;
- Verify your email address by clicking the verification link we send you;
- Open and affirmatively accept these Terms of Use; and
- Confirm that you have a genuine (bona fide) interest in buying, selling or leasing real estate.
3. Permitted use
All MLS® information made available through your VOW account is provided exclusively for your personal, non-commercial use in considering the purchase, sale or lease of real estate. You agree that you will not:
- Copy, redistribute or retransmit any of the MLS® information;
- Sell, license or commercially reuse the information in any form;
- Scrape, harvest, database or systematically download the information, whether manually or by automated means; or
- Make the information available to any third party.
4. Ownership and copyright
You acknowledge that Pillar 9™ owns the MLS® System and holds copyright in the MLS® database, and that the applicable real estate board(s) and listing brokerages retain all rights in the compilation and content of the MLS® information. The trademarks MLS®, Multiple Listing Service® and the associated logos are owned by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and identify the quality of services provided by real estate professionals who are members of CREA.
5. Your information
You consent to CalgaryListings Group retaining your registration information (name, telephone number, email address, username, and your acceptance of these terms) and, where required, providing it to Pillar 9™ or the applicable real estate board for compliance, security or auditing purposes. We do not sell your information. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us; board record-keeping requirements may require us to retain evidence of your acceptance of these terms.
6. Accuracy and no advice
MLS® information is supplied by Pillar 9™ and is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed accurate. Sold and historical data is provided for context only and is not an appraisal or advice. Confirm all information independently before relying on it in a transaction.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate VOW access at any time for any breach of these terms, suspected commercial use, scraping or redistribution, or where required by Pillar 9™ or the applicable board.
