Kelly Fraser —
Calgary REALTOR®
Kelly Fraser came to real estate with a background that is genuinely uncommon — and that background shapes how she sees properties, guides clients, and supports sellers preparing their homes for market.
Before becoming a licensed REALTOR®, Kelly worked in the building industry alongside her husband Dino at Bella Homes. That experience gave her hands-on exposure to new home construction — from how homes are built and finished to the many design and detail decisions that shape how a property looks, functions, and is perceived by buyers. She understands the difference between finishes that hold their value and shortcuts that become visible problems. She can look at a home the way a builder does — and that gives her a valuable lens for both buyers and sellers.
"The details matter — not as abstract aesthetics, but because they are exactly what buyers notice first and remember longest. Understanding what makes a space work is something I bring to every property conversation."
Design, Details, and
Visual Presentation
Kelly also worked on film sets in wardrobe and visual presentation. That career is not a detour from real estate — it is directly relevant to how she sees spaces, how she thinks about presentation, and how she understands the way a home comes across visually to someone seeing it for the first time.
On a film set, the visual impression a space creates matters enormously. Lighting, arrangement, scale, flow, and detail all combine to produce a specific feeling in the viewer. That same awareness applies directly to preparing a home for market — how rooms photograph, how buyers move through a space, and which details attract attention versus which ones create hesitation.
Helping Buyers See
the Full Picture
For buyers, Kelly's building background is a real advantage. She notices things that buyers without that context often miss — construction quality, finish details, the things that signal a well-built home versus one where corners were cut. She can walk through a property with a buyer and help them understand what they are actually looking at, not just what the staging presents.
For sellers, Kelly's eye for visual presentation and home detail translates directly into preparation guidance. She understands which improvements create genuine buyer appeal and which are unnecessary, how to present a home so it photographs well, and what buyers in today's Calgary market are looking for in terms of finish quality and layout flow. Working within CalgaryListings Group, she combines her individual strengths with the team's pricing strategy, marketing systems, and collective market knowledge.
