With an easy-to-navigate interchange in place, Currie is accessible to all points in Calgary via Crowchild Trail, Sarcee and Glenmore Trails and soon, the Calgary Ring Road.

This redeveloped area in the heart of West Calgary has several well-established schools. Elementary schools include Killarney, Glenbrook, St. James Separate School and the French Catholic school, École Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys. Junior high schools are Bishop Pinkham in nearby Lakeview and A.E. Cross on 37th St SW. Bishop Carroll Senior High School is on the south side of Currie and Central Memorial is across Crowchild Trail with an IB program available at Henry Wise Wood Senior High School about 3 km away. Master’s Academy, a private Christian K-Grade 12 School, is also next door to Currie.
